DJ-JES covert klassieker van Whitney Houston
DJ-JES, Covered getiteld ‘The Greatest’. Het betreft een cover van Whitney Houston’s ‘Greatest Love Of All’. Een aantal jaren geleden lanceerden de Toppers ook al een cover van deze klassieker. DJ-JES heeft zijn versie zelf geproduceerd en de zang is opgenomen in de studio van Peter La Haye.
De bewerking van DJ-JES, die grotendeels in het Nederlands wordt gezongen is geschreven door Chris Cohen. Alleen het refrein wordt in het Engels vertolkt. DJ-JES wordt muzikaal bijgestaan door de uit Den Haag afkomstige zanger Michael Angelo. Volgens DJ-JES bevat zijn versie een enorme discobeat en is daarom een bijzondere meedeiner geworden.
Naast z’n drukke bestaan als DJ in de regio Den Haag – Amsterdam produceert hij de laatste drie jaar zelf nummers. Om met deze cover toch een groter publiek te trekken nam hij contact op met Bert Schenau van HUBSCH Media. DJ-JESS is ervan overtuigt dat deze manier van pluggen meerdere deuren gaat openen. Het nummer zal overigens zonder bewegende beelden op Youtube worden geplaatst.
