Riny Valentijn – Kom nou maar hier

In eerste instantie was het de bedoeling dat de nieuwe single ‘Kom nou maar hier’ van Riny Valentijn in 2018 al gelanceerd zou gaan worden. Echter is destijds besloten om ‘Ik wil jou’ uit te brengen. Het nummer in de Zuid Afrikaanse stijl leverde Riny veel positieve reacties op. Vanwege dit succes is besloten om met ‘Kom nou maar hier’ daaraan een vervolg te geven. Dat de drone tijdens de clipopname de titel van de single letterlijk nam was echter niet de bedoeling. Gelukkig waren alle shots al geschoten en stonden veilig op de schijf.
‘Kom nou maar hier’ komt uit de pen van z’n maatje Chris Cohen. De opnames vonden, zoals we van Riny gewend zijn, plaats bij Peter la Haye in Zoetermeer en de single verschijnt bij Storm Records.
Clipproducent Ger Oerlemans werd ingehuurd om de beelden te schieten bij de Stoomstichting in Rotterdam. ‘Ik heb ervoor gekozen om tussen oude treinwagons i.p.v. in een oude fabriekshal de clip op te nemen. Het had nogal wat voeten in aarde om dat rond te krijgen met die stichting. Ze willen controle hebben over wat er gefilmd wordt. Dat is ook wel begrijpelijk. Nadat alles gefilmd was viel de drone vanuit de lucht op de grond. Deze was zodanig beschadigd dat hij niet meer gebruikt kon worden, maar gelukkig hebben we alle beelden nog wel’, aldus Riny.
